Flowers

Applicants from all walks of life are accepted, however you will get more of the benefits if you speak English moderately well and are willing to work hard and be flexible.
Concordia accepts two types of applicant:

  • Non SAWs (EU excluding Bulgaria and Romania)
These are applications from within the European Union. These countries are: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom (see CABS).

Participants from these countries are free to enter the UK to work. However, Concordia anticipates that those who wish to work in the scheme still benefit from using the framework of support and careful placement provided in order to gain experience in an advanced country.
If you are from within the EU (excluding Bulgaria and Romania), please click here for further information and entry requirements.

  • SAWs (Bulgaria and Romania)

Concordia are one of the largest operators of the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Scheme (SAWS). This is a Home Office scheme that allows for the admission of seasonal workers using a work card system. Applicants are admitted for a maximum of six months.
If you would like to apply for the SAWs scheme, please click here for further information and entry requirements. The SAWS scheme for 2008 is available to these from Bulgaria and Romania ONLY.

The Home Office provides more information on the SAWS scheme, please click here for further details.
