Costs
Concordia has an optional membership programme which costs £79 per year. The agency you apply through will have additional costs.
This fee includes:
- Sim card with free international call allowance
- A Touchdown phone card with £5 credit
- Maps and guides
- AC travel electrical adaptor
- Travel Insurance*
- Phone support for dealing with problems
- Work placement extensions or transfers
- Newsletter
- Free insurance claim service
- Placement with Concordia with a high level of pastoral care
Please note that individuals who do not use a Concordia agent are charged an additional £30 courier fee for postage of their documents.

Applicants who don't choose membership should demonstrate suitable insurance cover before a place can be confirmed. As a minimum, this should provide cover during work for personal liability up to £2,500,000 and repatriation up to £25,000. Insurance cover is included in the Concordia membership along with other benefits.
UK work placements available
Concordia has placements on farms in the UK starting between now and mid-June. If this is of interest to you and you have working rights in the UK, then please e-mail students@concordia-
ysv.org.uk with your name, date of birth, contact details and the dates you are available.
We regret that if you are a Romanian or Bulgarian national, all our SAWS work cards for 2008 have been allocated and we will not be able to offer you a placement.
